The Executive Board of Local 177 recently held an instructional seminar available to all Shop Stewards within the Local. The Seminar was held from June 12 - June 14 at the Grand Hotel in Cape May, NJ.

   The Seminar covered topics which included:

  1. Overviews of recent arbitration cases- addressed by Labor attorney,Ed O'Hare Esq.

  2. Developments In The Law- instructed by Labor attorney Bob Fagella, Esq.

  3. Teamster History - instructed by Karin Jones, Communications and Outreach Coordinator-IBT Department of Training and Development.

  4. Contract Enforcement and Grievance Procedure- instructed by Myron Sharp, Training Coordinator-IBT Department of Training and Development. (Myron is also the Shop Steward for employees at the IBT).

   The Executive Board wishes to thank all those who helped to make the Seminar a success through their participation and assistance.

   The Executive Board also wishes to extend a special thank you to Myron Sharp, Karin Jones, Ed O'Hare Esq., and Bob Fagella Esq., whose informative and educational presentations ensured the success of the Seminar.
